how do i refill my printer cartridge?
i have a cannon pixma mp630 with cannon 521 ink cartridges,
CLI-521C. can these be refilled and if so how much ink do you put in? do you need to buy a particular ink or do they all work?
i bought 921 trio ink and attempted to fill the pink colour and it all leaked out the bottom???
You have to seal the hole at the bottom with plenty of tape before you refill or it will leak back out.
You then leave the tape on until you inserted the seal back in the hole you drilled to fill the ink in the top as this then makes the unit air tight and stops the ink running out.
Once filled and the plug is in the hole remove the tape and let it stand for a few minutes to let all the last drips stop. Wipe gently with a piece of tissue before re-inserting in to the printer.
You can refill them but the printer will not show ink levels so you have disable the ink monitor.
